Employee Eligibility:

All Mary Kay employees are eligible to participate in the Employee Referral Program with the following exceptions:

• Human Resources
• Vice Presidents and above
• Any supervisor with direct or indirect reporting relationship to referral
• Any employee who is directly involved in the interviewing or hiring process
• Summer Student Program/Interns/Mary Kay temporaries

Referral Eligibility:

• Candidate must not have submitted an application or resume on their own within the previous 6 months.
• Candidate must not have an active application or resume on file originally submitted by an outside agency within last 6 months.
• Candidate must not be currently employed with the Company nor working for the Company as an agency temporary, professional consultant, or contractor.
• Candidate must not have been previously referred by another employee.
• Candidate must not have been a former employee of Mary Kay Inc.
• Position for which referral is made must be an eligible position under the Employee Referral Program.

Process:

Either employee or referral candidate must submit Employee Referral Program Form along with a resume or completed application. Human Resources will contact you regarding final status and bonus amount, if any. No splitting of bonus between two or more employees - only one employee will receive the referral bonus. If a successful candidate is referred by two or more employees, the earliest date and time that Human Resources logs the referral form will determine who receives the bonus.

Payment Schedule:

Referral bonus amounts under $1,000 will be paid in full to an eligible employee on their first scheduled pay date after 90 days of the referred employee’s employment date. The referral bonus will not be paid unless both the referring employee and referred employee are actively employed with the Company at the time of scheduled payment. Referral bonus amounts $1,000 or more will be paid in full to an eligible employee on their first scheduled pay date after 6 months of the referred employee’s employment date. The referral bonus will not be paid unless both the referring employee and referred employee are actively employed with the Company at the time of scheduled payment. Referral bonus will be subject to federal withholding, FICA, and any applicable state taxes. The Employee Referral Program is designed to assist in recruiting efforts to meet the current business needs. The Company reserves the right to modify any part of the program or to cancel the program in its entirety at any time.
