Job Summary

Provides high-level technical support and consultation for the global HCM SaaS Cloud solution with a focus on reporting and application integration between Oracle HCM and other business application providers on the cloud, ERP and 3rd party systems. Collaborates with HR and organization leaders to provide global Human Capital analytics to enable and support data driven decisions.

About the Role

  • Acts as integration lead for new interfaces and modifications to existing interfaces:
    • Consults/advises on implications for new interfaces or modifications to existing interfaces.
    • Maintains documentation for interface requirements.
    • Unit testing using scenario-based test cases.
    • Ensures alignment between business and vendors.
    • Creates and maintains scheduling of jobs.
    • Researches and resolves integration issues.
    • Develops and maintains Data extracts.
  • Creates and maintains Fast Formulas for complex calculations or derived values.
  • Performs mass uploads using HDL or exports data using Data Extract.
  • Reporting and Analytics/Dashboards: Consults with HR specialists, HRBP’s and leaders to determine report requirements (design, format), source/extract and analyze data. Ensures that a comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) process is applied to all reports prior to distribution. Creates and maintains standard, complex and ad hoc reports using OTBI, BI Publisher, SQL, etc. Maintains report inventory to ensure standardization and eliminate duplication of effort. Identifies existing and future business challenges; collects and interprets data and develops models to form hypotheses and present recommendations. Retrieves and consolidates quantitative data (structured and unstructured) from multiple sources; validates and updates data; conducts regression and correlation analyses.
  • System Updates: On a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, reviews documentation and enhancements to Oracle HCM to identify system, API, and/or business impacts to users. Partners with affected groups on adoption and timing of new features. Regression test reporting and dashboards.
  • Data Integrity: Ensures data integrity by routinely auditing data, identifying discrepancies, partnering with HR specialists or HRBP’s to correct data and ensure compliance with established procedures. Designs, establishes, and leads data governance model to include standardization of data definitions. Acts as the point of contact for compliance reporting and audit inquiries.
  • Support: Provides production support by analyzing and resolving issues, educating, and training end users. Drives process improvements or implement appropriate work arounds. Assists with system configuration and access.

This job requires on-site work at a Mary Kay facility.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Experience: 5+ years

Field of Experience: HRIS experience (prefer Oracle HCM Cloud) and analytical software

Education: Bachelor/University Degree

Education Focus: Human Resources, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, and training/certification in Data Analytics

  • Advanced knowledge of OTBI, BIPublisher, and some knowledge of XML, SQL.
  • Understanding of relational database structure, SaaS Reporting and Integration tools.
  • Understanding of tools and technologies of SaaS Applications Experience administering Oracle HCM design including AOR and custom criteria.
  • Experience integrating data from complex, diverse systems into business intelligence and visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical, organization, and communications skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking with intellectual curiosity; able to handle ambiguity and solve problems. Sees the bigger picture while working with detailed data.
  • Strong HR acumen and technical aptitude, with experience in data analysis using statistical and mathematical theory.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues/solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner.
  • A high level of judgment and discretion to be able to manage highly confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and partner with team members and customers.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize and work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, balancing day-to-day operational priorities while progressing on projects.
