Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in library science
preferred, or equivalent combination of training and experience in managing
digital asset management systems. |
Experience |
3+ years of creative and graphic work experience in
design studio, advertising agency or corporate communications environment. |
1. Has
proficiency with digital asset management systems, understands metadata
standards such as XMP, IPTC, etc., is familiar with creating policies within
DAM systems for managing photo licensing rights and collections.
2. Has
a thorough understanding and knowledge of various creative digital formats such
as Adobe Photoshop, TIFF, JPEG, PNG, etc. Understands color theory in regards
to the differences between RGB and CMYK, color profiles, file compression, and
metadata. Basic understanding of Adobe software such Photoshop, Bridge, Illustrator,
and InDesign is a plus.
3.
Must be able to multi-task and manage
multiple projects at once while keeping on track to meet deadlines. Must have
strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with vendors
and internal stakeholders.
