Director of Sales - Europe Region
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or International Studies or equivalent applicable experience, MBA or Masters is a plus.
Experience:
10 – 15 years of Sales experience in dispersed international environments. Direct Selling experience is a plus. Proven Director-level experience is a must.
1. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required, plus a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior management role within a sales and/or customer service environment. A Master’s degree and international business experience is preferred.
2. Must have excellent interpersonal and oral presentation skills as well as the demonstrated ability to communicate difficult, highly confidential and sensitive issues with courtesy and tact.
3. Must be a visionary to create sophisticated incentive, compensation and recruiting programs.
4. Requires ability to hire, train, and motivate individuals, as well as a large sales organization.
5. Must have a strong knowledge of the budget process and be able to analyze data and reports in order to make recommendations based on findings.
6. Must be flexible and have the ability to adapt to different cultures while developing international business relationships.
7. Working knowledge of project management, spreadsheet and presentation software strongly preferred.
8. Language skills are a plus.
