Inspector Quality Control

Skills & Experience
Experience:  2+ years in a manufacturing environment
Education:  High School Diploma or Equivalent  

Additional Skills & Abilities
•    Must possess an understanding of government regulations affecting the manufacture of Mary Kay products in order to audit for compliance with related external guidelines. 
•    Must possess a thorough understanding of all methods and procedures such as Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions in order to audit for compliance with internal procedures. 
•    Must possess oral and written communication skills and the ability to print legibly in order to communicate inspection data, generate summary reports, and communicate non-compliance issues with various groups including, but not limited to Operations, Planning, Contract Services, and Configuration Management. 
•    Must have a sound understanding of basic math and probability in order to conduct audits. 
•    Must be able to meet all production/quality standards as defined by department for this Job. 
•    Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license in order to drive to other Mary Kay facilities. 
•    Duties may involve daily hand turning and twisting to loosen and tighten caps and bottles as well as routine bending, stooping, and squatting 
•    Must be able to lift a minimum weight of 35 pounds. 
•    Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for extended periods of time.
