KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
Experience: 3 years of electronic security systems hardware/software, technical security support experience, including 3 years of experience in customer - focused situations in which diplomacy and tact are necessary. Experience coordinating work of others is desirable.

1. Must be Ccure 9000 certified.
2. Must have a certification in a major VMS system
3. Must be able to be certified in Radionics\Bosh.
4. Must have at least 3 years recent experience in access control repair and installation.
5. Must have enough computer and network knowledge to coordinate with IST on database, and connectivity issues for software and devices.
6. Must be physically fit enough to walk long distances across facilities, carry ladders and equipment to worksite. Also, must be able to work at heights on ladders and Lifts to perform work on equipment.
7. Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, tact, diplomacy and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Must have a sense of urgency and use own judgment to determine when to escalate issues to management and other departments.
8. Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, coordinate the work of others and resolve complex problems to support the Manager with projects and activities of the Protective Services department.
9. Requires knowledge of electronic monitoring systems needed to program and establish access control levels.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Must possess the ability to type 30 - 40 wpm to respond via email and written correspondence to internal customer inquiries and to compile information for the purpose of reporting to a general audience. Must have familiarity with financial databases and/or budget software and knowledge of general accounts payable practices to report financial data, investigate invoices and to plan the department budget.
11. Excellent oral and written communication skills to resolve complex issues directly with the outlying branches and other departments, to coordinate workflow and schedules within the department, to communicate information to other departments and to assist staff in performing their duties.
12. Able to communicate via telephone and in person to work with executive, senior- and mid-level management concerning security issues as well as ability to utilize interpersonal skills to work well with and for others within the department and the Company.
