- Bachelor
degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other related field or comparable work
experience.
- 2+
years QA Tester/Analyst experience in an IT environment
- Understanding of QA processes, practices and systems
- Excellent
analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal,
team-building, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
- Experience executing and coordinating integration,
system, regression and user-acceptance testing
- Support holistic testing efforts for multiple projects
and feature releases, including integration and performance testing
- Develop, execute and maintain test plans, test suites,
test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
- Document
and evaluate test results and defects, track and manage defects
- Experience
in Web based, Client- Server, and Device testing
- Partner with business analysts and project managers to
ensure requirements are documented, understood, covered by tests and
accurately tested
- Provide input on go / no-go decisions for production
releases
- Experience
with Visual Studio Test Manager and
Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Functional
SQL skills and exposure with large scale relational databases
- Experience in Agile / Scrum and waterfall methodologies
- Experience
with formal test tools and common software quality test tools
- Determine
the test automation approach on a project by identifying if the project is
candidate for script automation, stress or load test
- Ability
to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office Excel
