KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business, Education or equivalent.  Graduate degree in Human Resources Development, Organization Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology or related field is strongly preferred.

Experience:

8+ years of related experience.

1. Must have knowledge and understanding of business and human resources principles and a working knowledge of the theories and principles of talent management, performance management, organization development and adult learning methodologies.  Thorough knowledge of OD programs and demonstrated results in integrating programs/tools/solutions to address business needs and organizational strategy.

2. Must be able to build capabilities in groups and/or specific individuals in core subject matter expertise such as talent and performance strategies, change strategies, etc.; apply adult learning theory to the training and/or intervention; communicate learning objectives to employees, serve as facilitator, subject matter expert and presenter; and use group processes effectively

3. Ability to apply knowledge of team skills and facilitation tools to implement organization and team development programs.

4. Quick to develop strong and trusting relationships with internal clients; a role model of the culture and values, OE and OD programs, practices and principles.

5. Excellent decision making skills, creativity and ability to develop appropriate and effective talent and learning solutions.

6. Leadership skills to oversee and effectively deliver on projects and commitments to internal clients.

7. Ability to organize and manage complex projects over an extended period; identify, evaluate, and secure appropriate resources; and apply resources in an effective and efficient manner.
