Senior Scientist I Product Safety Toxicology

Skills & Experience:

Education:  Bachelor/University Degree or MS with strong preference for PhD in biological science, chemistry or toxicology

Experience:  3+ years in toxicology with a consumer goods company, quantitative risk assessment experience, or other applicable experience.

Additional Skills & Abilities

1.            Must have full proficiency in technical writing and communication, including oral presentations and reports.

2.            Must be able to manage multiple projects independently.

3.            Must have an advanced understanding of the core principles and concepts of toxicology and product safety.

4.            Must have ability to apply standard scientific principles to make sound scientific judgments within scope of role and critical thinking in all aspects of work.

5.            Demonstrates ability to effectively lead self and technical teams.

6.            Demonstrates ability to collaborate and build partnerships across R&D departments to accomplish project and initiative objectives.

7.            Demonstrates ability to make decisions that may require developing new options to solve moderately complex problems.

8.            Demonstrates ability to coach and mentor junior technical staff.
