Senior Scientist Product Safety Toxicology
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Education: BS or MS with strong preference for PhD in biological science, chemistry or toxicology, plus
Experience: 5+ years of toxicology with a consumer goods company, quantitative risk assessment experience, or other applicable experience.
1. Must have full proficiency in technical writing and communication, including oral presentations and reports.
2. Skilled in summarizing work for decision-making that frequently requires developing new options to solve moderately complex problems.
3. Must be able to manage multiple projects independently and with agility.
4. Must have an advanced understanding of the core principles of toxicology and product safety
5. Must have ability to apply standard scientific principles and use sound technical and scientific judgments within scope of role and critical thinking in all aspects of work.
6. Demonstrates ability to effectively lead self and across functional technical teams.
7. Demonstrates ability to coach and mentor junior staff
8. Demonstrates ability to collaborate with technical and corporate partners outside of R&D to accomplish departmental goals.
