Education: Undergraduate degree in finance, IT, engineering, business, or a related field
Experience: 7+ years of experience with IT, including data management. 5+ years of experience managing risk and cost implications of software contracts and/or license tracking, reconciling, compliance, optimization, and procurement. 3+ years of demonstrated management experience; supervisory of third-party managed service provider is desired
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Experience with hands on information collection, processing, analysis and reporting
• Experience with asset management and SAM systems (ServiceNow, Snow, SCCM, eDiscovery tools); experience with system implementation is desired
• Experience with common software publishers' licensing models and ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
• Experience with development and implementation of policies and processes and the creation of associated documentation
• Legal qualification such as contract, copyright, and/or intellectual property law is desired
• Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM); Certification in specific software product license management (Oracle, IBM, Microsoft) is desired
