KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor’s degree in technology, communications, marketing, or related discipline is preferred  

Experience: 3+ years of project management or similar experience is required. 

  • Must be capable of analyzing and interpreting information, determining validity of inputs, and proposing solutions to the matrixed-organization’s business challenges. Must be resourceful and solution focused.  
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills required to influence others. Must understand business needs and position information so that partners can understand and act on issues. Ability to remain calm when dealing with a crisis.  
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects with conflicting deadlines, simultaneously. Must be proactive, exercise the ability to work independently, prioritize projects and step up when needs arise. Flexibility and adaptability are also critical skills in this role. 
  • Strong understanding of Creative agency concepts, terminology, creative processes, flow of work within creative and between creative and clients,  and must stay abreast of creative trends, especially those related to technology and operations.  
  • Requires strong knowledge of photographic technology, creative design software and other creative agency technology including InDesign, Photoshop, Mac Operating Systems, Font Folio, Casper, D.A.M. systems, Adobe Bridge, Editing Suite and other related systems. Strong knowledge of file transfer/sharing technology considered a plus. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. SharePoint is a plus.  
  • Must be able to make sound operational decisions in managing hardware and software budgets and resource availability, maximizing value to the company for these assets.
