KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES    

Education 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Instructional Design, Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies, or related field, plus.

Experience

3+ years of experience writing/creating educational or instructional material and/or implementing corporate sales or marketing programs. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Mary Kay independent sales force and their career path, or experience with other direct-selling organization(s) is highly preferred. Experience with online learning, adult learning and Learning Management Systems is a plus.

  1. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, as well as good organizational skills are required to communicate both verbally and in writing with the independent Sales Force, other departments and international staff to exchange information and to resolve problems.
  2. Must have polished business professional presentation and acumen, and the ability to develop working relationships with Independent Sales Directors and National Sales Directors. Prior experience giving/facilitating presentations or live events/meetings or presentations is a plus.
  3. Must be self-motivated and self-directed, proactive, and possess the ability to work well independently and as part of a team-driven environment.
  4. Ability to work on and follow direction on project processes, timelines, etc. from start to completion, while adhering to key deadlines. Must have project management skills.
  5. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
  6. Domestic overnight travel is required up to 20% of work time to attend special Company events, visit independent sales force members and support educational efforts and activities.
