Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications,
marketing, or equivalent, plus |
Experience |
7+ years of creative copywriting and editing experience
in a corporate or advertising agency environment. Experience in personal care
products, health/nutrition is beneficial. Experience in the cosmetic field
preferred but not essential. |
1. Must
have a thorough knowledge of writing techniques, creative writing approaches,
English, and grammar. Must be able to
adapt writing style to a variety of audiences. Must be able to synthesize vast
amounts of information from a variety of sources to arrive at the key marketing
messages.
2. Must
have excellent project management skills in order to adapt quickly and
effectively to changing priorities and needs.
3. Requires
ability to motivate and influence through communication; ability to work in
team environment; ability to evaluate client direction in terms of objectives
and purpose and solve problems. Must be
able to work on several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Must be
able to keep an open mind when it comes to input from others, and maintain
flexibility in consolidating multiple points of view.
4. Must
possess excellent organizational and oral and written communication skills,
including strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Must be very detail
oriented and be factually accurate.
5. Must
have good working knowledge of word processing software (preferably MS Word)
and PowerPoint to prepare articles, presentations, etc.
6. Must
have innate creative and conceptual abilities and the ability to develop and
motivate personnel to produce the finest quality and most creative materials
possible.
7. Excellent
presentation skills are required to interact with marketing personnel in the
development of marketing communication strategies and materials.
8. Ability
to coach, facilitate, and empower team members; motivate, train, and supervise
staff/contractors; interface with individuals to develop/execute communication
pieces.
