Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications,
Journalism, English, Business or related field. |
Experience |
Minimum of 5 years of educational, marketing or
direct sales project management experience.

1.
Strong successful project management experience
with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple, complex projects with
aggressive deadlines. Critical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills
required. Must possess ability to
independently develop and implement solutions.
2.
Must possess a sense of urgency and ownership,
be proactive, and display confidence as a project leader.
3.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written
communication skills required to communicate with top management, the
independent sales force, and collaborate with all levels within the
organization.
4.
Must display a positive, friendly attitude with a
genuine interest in contributing within a team-driven environment.
5.
Must possess solid analytical abilities in order
to conduct research and provide analysis of results. Ability to define
opportunities and problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts and make
valid conclusions.
6.
Must have experience developing and executing programs
and supporting materials and understand print and broadcast media, creative and
print production and online marketing.
7.
Must be able to work in teams, and have the ability
to lead teams from multiple disciplines to execute projects.
8.
Ability to become the “Voice of the Independent
Beauty Consultant” to influence planning is required.
9.
Domestic overnight travel required approximately
20% of work time to attend special events and seminars, to visit and interview
sales force members, and to support educational and training activities.
10. Position
requires proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
11. Fluent
speaking, reading and writing Spanish skills are a plus.
12. Must
be a Brand Ambassador for the Mary Kay Brand and ensure all tactics adhere to
Branding guidelines.
