Sr Technical Engineer IST

SPECIFIC SKILL SETS REQUIREMENTS:    

• In-depth understanding of security architecture in cloud-hosted environments

• 1-2 years of programming experience PowerShell and\or Python

• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps environment

• Hands on experience in setting up and securing assets in AWS

• Experience in securing AWS implementations

• Experience with CloudFormation and AWS WAF

• Strong understanding of the OWASP Top 10 rules as they relate to WAF implementations

• Experience in automating the embedding of Cloud security controls in the CI\CD pipeline

• Ample understanding of Secure Development Lifecycle

• Experience with integrating static and dynamic and dynamic scanners in the S-SDLC

• Experience in building security unit tests is a strong plus

• CISSP certified or is able to obtain a CISSP certification within 1 year of hiring

• Working knowledge of server and desktop operating systems to include Unix, Linux, Windows Win7, Win10, and Mac OSX

• Understanding of various authentication mechanisms

• Ability to work well with various levels of management across departments

• Detailed and process oriented

• Strong organizational skills and analytical/problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure

• A self-starter, adaptive and flexible to change

SPECIFIC SKILL SETS DESIRED, BUT NOT NECESSARILY REQUIRED:

• Web Application Firewall (WAF) setup, maintenance, and monitoring

• Familiar with AWS security service offerings

• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and\or PCI compliance frameworks

• Technical documentation skills

• Experience working with decentralized teams across multiple time zones
