Associate Principal Plant Engineer – Operations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:    


Education:  Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical, process, packaging or industrial engineering.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in engineering project management in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical or food industry.

1. Able to demonstrate thought leadership and influence beyond regular functions. 

2. Able to develop in-depth knowledge and advanced problem-solving skills and an awareness of Mary Kay priorities to achieve stated results.

3. Able to demonstrate excellent leadership skills to provide advice and overall technical direction for projects. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to function effectively in stressful, fast-paced situations, with the personal leadership to influence and positively motivate self. Upholds, lives and delivers core values of the company

4. Able to demonstrate the knowledge of design engineering techniques, tools and principles.

5. Able to demonstrate strong project management and interpersonal skills and the ability to direct/motivate

multi-functional project teams.

6. Able to demonstrate problem solving, trouble-shooting and strategic thinking skills

7. Able to demonstrate scale-up and commercialization experience

8. Ability to develop excellent written and oral communication skills required

9. Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally overnight approximately 10-20% of the time.
