Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related field (MBA preferred).

Experience: 7+ years of experience in cross-functional corporate or agency environment required, including at least 5 years working in a global environment. Experience with digital marketing, social media and video strategy required. Experience working in community cloud and marketing cloud highly preferred. Global promotions and cosmetics industry experience highly preferred.

3. This individual is an expert in all things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and storytelling. Thinking like a marketer and data analyst, incumbent’s ability to understand and implement key marketing analytics insights to lead the development to support all content initiatives in all channels is critical.

4. The ideal candidate will bring proven integrated marketing experience with a passion for content development. Critical to this position’s success is the ability to lead and inspire at a global level. Requires the ability to lead others without direct managerial authority. Ability to influence at VP levels and above is essential to success in this position.

5. This role requires seasoned communications abilities to effectively communicate with and influence senior management as well as internal and external partners. Excellent judgment, diplomacy and strong collaboration skills are also required to work cross-culturally with subsidiary and regional teams.

6. Incumbent must demonstrate the ability to lead change, experience delivering business insights and marked presence, especially in high-pressure situations. Leadership presence and the ability to make a strong and commanding first impression are also important.

7. Position requires extreme flexibility, adaptability and modular thinking. Must demonstrate global thinking and possess the sincere desire to work in a global environment, dealing with numerous diverse cultures and environments and the resultant complexity. At the same time, must be able to balance brand objectives and global strategies with the local, cultural needs.

8. Requires a globally-minded, creative and solutions-oriented approach to develop assets for all Mary Kay regions -- from mature, experienced markets with high awareness levels and sophisticated media planning to new, establishing markets requiring a grass-roots approach. Skill level must be solid to operate in such a vast, global marketing landscape.

9. Work is performed without appreciable direction and the incumbent will exercise considerable latitude in determining approach to assignments and direction/solutions offered to regions.

10. Some domestic and international travel may be required.

11. Verbal fluency in a second language is preferred.
