About The Role

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) supports Mary Kay's Global Supply Chain division. The position serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, and provides guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, talent initiatives, and organizational effectiveness. Acts as an advocate for employees, a coach for managers, and a partner in driving business objectives through people strategies. Assesses HR-related needs, communicates needs proactively, and builds relationships across the organization.

  • Employee Relations & Workforce Support

    • Partner with group heads, managers, supervisors, and employees to address employee relations issues, ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with company policies.

    • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational initiatives by providing input and assisting HR leadership with implementation

    • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance, team dynamics, and engagement.

    • Serve as a consultant to ensure that all corrective and disciplinary action is appropriate and consistent with company policy and employee relations programs are in effect.

    • Diagnose and/or advise on day-to-day concerns related to employee performance, productivity, and engagement challenges.

    • Conduct investigations, exit interviews, and feedback sessions, identifying themes and opportunities for improvement.

    • Train employees on company directed policies and processes.

    • Help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture to improve work relationships, boost morale, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Talent & Performance Management

    • Support leaders in driving the performance management cycle, ensuring employees receive meaningful, timely feedback.

    • Provide day-to-day coaching to managers and employees on performance, development, and career growth.

    • Champion a culture of continuous feedback and growth, making sure employees feel supported in their careers.

    • Assist in talent planning, succession discussions, career pathing, and employee development initiatives.

    • Support recruiting efforts as needed, including interviewing, selection, and onboarding.

    • Help create a strong candidate and new hire experience that reflects our values and culture.

  • HR Programs & Policies

    • Advise on the application and communication of HR policies and programs.

    • Partner with HR colleagues to support company-wide programs such as engagement surveys, recognition, and development initiatives.

    • Assist with HR reporting, data accuracy, and compliance with employment regulations.

  • This position requires on-site work at Mary Kay’s R&D Manufacturing facility in Lewisville, TX.

 

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • Experience: 3+ years of Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) experience. Experience supporting operations, manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments preferred.

  • Education: Bachelor/University Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

  • Language: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and leaders in both languages.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to balance empathy with objectivity.

  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and effective relationships and be a strong collaborator.

  • Ability to uncover issues and root causes and apply business focused solutions.

  • Organized, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced corporate environment.

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Microsoft Teams a plus).
