The Opportunity We Provide:
The IT Project Management Intern supports Global IT project and portfolio activities through coordination, reporting, and operational process support. The role provides exposure to enterprise project and portfolio management practices while contributing to process consistency and operational efficiency across global teams.
Coordinate and document project and portfolio meetings, including action items and follow‑ups
Maintain project plans, dashboards, schedules, and financial tracking artifacts
Support agile ceremonies and backlog grooming as needed
Support portfolio intake coordination, tracking, and reporting activities
Assist with preparation and maintenance of dashboards, metrics, and executive‑level reporting
Identify repetitive or manual tasks and support process simplification or automation efforts
Help standardize workflows, templates, and documentation
- Partner with stakeholders on process improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in
Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- To be eligible you must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (undergraduate) or part time (graduate) as defined by your university at the time of application
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Willingness to learn new tools and processes
This job requires on-site work at our Global Headquarters in Addison, TX
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to project or portfolio management concepts
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Experience or interest in Jira, Smartsheet, or similar tools
Interest in process improvement or automation
