Manager Production Operations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Education:           

Bachelor's degree in related field, plus minimum of five years of manufacturing operations experience, including supervisory experience, in order to manage the efforts of the packaging personnel in a cost effective manner to meet operational objectives, maintain production schedules, and ensure product quality.

Experience:         

7+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including supervisory experience, in order to manage the efforts of the packaging personnel in a cost effective manner to meet operational objectives, maintain production schedules, and ensure product quality.

1.            Must have technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills in order to manage the repair, maintenance and operation of production equipment and direct the activities of technical subordinates. 

2.            Must have keen management skills in order to cost effectively meet operational objectives, maintain production schedules, and ensure product quality.

3.            Must have demonstrated human relations skills to successfully resolve operational problems and human relations concerns.

4.            Must have a thorough knowledge of manufacturing regulations in order to conduct routine housekeeping and GMP walk-thru, monitor SOP compliance, monitor safety compliance, and implement corrective actions.

5.            Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in order to interact effectively with assigned personnel and both internal and external contacts.
