KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, project management, product development, or a related scientific discipline (MBA preferred)
Experience 8+ years of related experience in product development and project management with a strong focus in managing timelines for personal care, consumer goods or cosmetics. Knowledge of project management processes, and business fundamentals is critical. Two years of supervisory/management experience required.
1. Must have an understanding of managing project timelines in international markets.
2. Must have an understanding of international markets and manufacturing operations worldwide.
3. Must possess strong leadership, including the ability to effectively recognize and manage change.
4. Must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong drive for results.
5. Incumbent must understand task dependencies and critical milestones and how they relate to other steps in the product launch cycle.
6. Must be organized, capable of managing high levels of detail, and managing multiple activities/tasks under pressure.
7. Must have a strong, assertive personality balanced with a respect for others and sensitivity to cultural diversity.
8. PMP® certification is preferred.
