KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES    
 
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 3 years previous warehouse experience.
 
1. Must continuously demonstrate the ability to safely drive the forklift equipment within the warehouse fleet, and be able to maintain forklift certification requirements.
 
2. Must have the ability to learn and responsible for Job Specific Warehouse Safety Rules and Guidelines, General Safety Rules, EHS SOP’s, Department Of Transportation CFR 49 This course meets the DOT training requirements of both  "General Awareness" and "Security Awareness" training,, OSHA CFR 29 Environmental Protection Agency CFR 40, Good Manufacturing Practice, Federal Drug Administration CFR 21, and all other regulatory bodies’ regulations, guidelines, rules, processes, or procedures associated with the job function.  
 
3. Must have the ability for basic math skills as demonstrated by successfully passing a math test in order to process receipts, calculate material returns quantities, troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, and ensure proper inventory accuracy.
 
4. Must have the ability to stand approximately 95% of the time in order to verify movements of inventory materials and drive forklifts and sit approximately 5% of the time in order to work at a desk and maintain inventory and movement records.
 
5. Must have the ability to frequently walk in order move about production and warehouse areas; ability to frequently lift 40 - 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 70 lbs. in order to move product.
 
6. Must have the ability to frequently stoop, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and reach in order to check pallets, push and pull skids using a pallet jack, and work around product.
 
7. Must maintain corrective vision to the degree that close inspection work, such as inspecting dates and product codes and maintaining paperwork for inventory can be performed.
 
8. Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal direct leadership or supervision.
 
9. Must be able to use a personal computer to generate product paperwork, labels or reports, and to effectively communicate to others via e-email, and to update and maintain records.  Must be able to interact with RF type devices to enable system data gathering.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS 
 
1. This job requires frequent exposure to odors, noise, dust, vibrations, fumes, gases, heat, cold, chemicals and weather conditions.
 
2. Incumbent is subject to other hazards such as electrical shock, moving mechanical parts, chemicals, temperature extremes, and high places.
 
3. Incumbent, during the course of performing a task, may be subject to items identified as hazardous material by the Environmental Protection Agency.  Incumbents assigned such duties must complete an initial training program in hazardous waste management procedures and required follow-up training.  This job requires incumbent to wear PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) as required to safely perform the tasks as required including steel toe shoes, cutting gloves, and safety glasses.
 
4. Incumbent may need to work occasional after-hours or weekend overtime to support production requirements.  Incumbent is required to work all “mandatory” overtime as established by production requirements or Company business needs.
 
5. Duties may involve the handling/management of substances designated as hazardous waste by the Environmental Protection Agency.  Incumbents assigned such duties must complete an initial training program in hazardous waste management procedures and required follow-up training.
