Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Finance or IT related field. A minimum of 12 hours of accounting coursework is required.
Experience: 5+ years of experience working with accounting systems in support, system administration, or systems project roles. Experience in finance system implementations required.
Project management experience beneficial.
1. Advanced understanding of the relationship of finance systems to other systems and the ability to recognize implications of integrations and changes.
2. Project management skills with the ability to manage project teams including third party consultants and global Mary Kay staff.
3. Knowledge of internal controls and system security with the ability to independently identify gaps and recommend solutions.
4. Excellent oral and written communications skills to work with Company management at all levels and in all markets. Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals. Ability to formulate recommendations and persuade others.
5. Knowledge of change management (OCM) techniques and ability to use OCM to gain global support for project goals.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills to work independently on multiple projects.
7. PMP Project Management Professional and CAPM Certified Associate in Project Management preferred.
