Sr. Continuous Improvement Specialist

Experience: 5+ years of LEAN manufacturing, Continuous Improvement

Education: Bachelor/University Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Business

Additional Skills & Abilities

•Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles/processes, procedures and machinery, material handling and conveyance, packaging and logistics. Broader Supply Chain experience required.

•Demonstrated ability to provide project focused training including development of documentation and training materials.

•Demonstrated ability to apply systems perceptive to all activities, to optimize the entire product flow (i.e. drive out silo thinking).

•Must possess a thorough knowledge of manufacturing regulations in order to conduct routine housekeeping and GMP walk-thru, monitor SOP compliance, monitor safety compliance and implement corrective actions.

•Must possess excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills in order to interact effectively with assigned personnel and both internal and external contacts.

•Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels, and all positions, within organization.

•Must possess the ability to demonstrate task management and timeline control for multiple projects.

•Must possess Lean Six Sigma Green Belt equivalent, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

•Must possess passion for excellence in people, processes and analytics. This is a hands-on position that will require a self-motivated, high energy level individual.
