KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Business, Communications, Marketing, Online and/or Social Media Marketing or related field.
Experience: 5+ years of cumulative work experience in a social media, marketing/advertising/public relations/digital marketing role. Proficiency in social media analytics and social terminology. Previous non-profit experience preferred, but not required
1. Must have integrated marketing experience with demonstrated in depth knowledge and experience with social media planning, channels, and engagement.
2. Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.), their respective participants, and how each platform can be deployed and cross-leveraged in different scenarios.
3. Must have a creative eye for visual design.
4. Critical to this position’s success is the ability to manage multiple routine projects with attention to detail.
5. Must be self-sufficient, able to prioritize and organize. Must have good organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work in a multi-task environment
6. Must have strong interpersonal, diplomacy and communication skills to effectively communicate, collaborate, and provide direction to stakeholders and partners.
7. Must be able to collaborate with external Agencies, vendors, internal Creative partners and cross functional teams.
