Job Summary

Supports the development and execution of integrated social media strategies that contribute to the Company’s global marketing efforts and elevate the credibility of the brand. Partners to coordinate content initiatives across multiple channels and regions, helping ensure localization and alignment with Global brand approach. Contributes to the planning and delivery of social media campaigns, toolkits, and educational resources that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and regional partners to help integrate social strategy into broader marketing efforts. Maintains communication with platform partners and creators, supports trend reporting and performance tracking, and helps ensure social media remains a strategic and impactful part of the product and brand experience.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Manages social campaign strategy from briefing through execution, ensuring alignment with product strategy, audience insights, and platform trends. Contributes to overall campaign planning by gathering insights and helping shape content recommendations in partnership with creative teams. Under supervision of manager, leads co-creation of Global social media strategy.
  • Works closely with cross-functional partners to help ensure social strategy and content are aligned and visible across teams. Assists in coordinating communication and tracking progress across teams, helping to manage complexity and support project momentum.
  • Supports the integration of social strategy into briefing documents, creative development, and campaign delivery. Helps ensure social POV is considered early in campaign planning.
  • Learns from social platforms and vendors to define social reporting frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs). Shares KPIs with regions and markets, gathers performance results, and identifies best practices to inform future content development and optimize strategy based on insights. Concepts campaign dashboards and feedback loops to inform future content and strategy. Ensures insights are mapped to next steps for markets and regions.
  • Compiles trend reports and shares relevant insights with internal teams to support strategic planning. Integrates trend and social listening insights into toolkits and campaign briefs. Tracks and shares updates on platform changes, ensuring teams are informed of new features and functionality. Translates platform updates into actionable creative and strategic guidance.
  • Maintains communication with key Global social media contacts (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) and platform reps to stay ahead of trends. Helps compile and share social strategy guidelines and best practices with regions, markets, and IBCs. Consults with sales team on social education for independent beauty consultants.
  • This job requires on-site work at a Mary Kay facility.

Skills & Experience

Experience: 5+ years embedding social strategy into creative development and product launches. Experience working with global teams and managing a global social media calendar. Agency experience is strongly preferred.

Education: Bachelor/University Degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret social media metrics. Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms. Ability to translate insights into strategic recommendations and creative briefs.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic global environment. Must be able to balance brand objectives and global strategies with local, cultural needs.

  • Some domestic and international travel may be required.
