Sr. Training Specialist

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:    

Education:  Bachelor’s degree, preferable in Engineering, Operations or General Business.

Experience: 5+ years of practical job experience (preferably in a Lean MFG environment).   Preference will be given to those who possess experience leading Learning and Personnel Development in Lean Transformations for Supply Chains with manufacturing operations.

1. Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

2. Project Management experience combined with skillful time management and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.

3. Minitab or statistical tool proficient.

4. Proven experience training and mentoring of Six Sigma Green Belt.

5. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles/processes, procedures and machinery, material handling and conveyance, packaging and logistics. Broader Supply Chain experience required.

6. Demonstrated ability to apply systems perceptive to all activities, in order to optimize the entire product flow (i.e. drive out silo thinking).

7. Must possess a thorough knowledge of manufacturing regulations in order to conduct routine housekeeping and GMP walk-thru, monitor SOP compliance, monitor safety compliance and implement corrective actions.

8. Must possess excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills in order to interact effectively with assigned personnel as well as both internal and external contacts.

9. Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels, and all positions, within organization.

10. Must possess the ability to demonstrate task management and timeline control for multiple projects.

11. Must possess Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent.

12. Must possess passion for excellence in people, processes and analytics.  This is a hands-on position that will require a self-motivated, high energy level individual.
