Your Role
As Processing Team Lead II, you’ll guide a team to efficiently process high-quality bulk products, ensuring adherence to GMP and production specs. Your key responsibilities include:
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team to ensure efficient processing of bulk products.
- Establish a clear vision for the team, outlining our goals, the path to achieve them, and the expectations for success
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to drive engagement and performance.
- Set clear expectations and create action plans for team development.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety regulations, and lean manufacturing standards.
Production Optimization
- Oversee processing operations to maintain high efficiency while meeting production goals.
- Utilize data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, drive process improvements, optimize output, and meet production goals.
- Participate in root cause analysis using tools like 5-Why, FMEA, and PDCA to address equipment and process issues.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Reliability, and Planning teams to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
- Maximize equipment, manpower, and material utilization to reduce downtime, waste, and safety risks.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with Planning, Reliability, Engineering, Quality, and Warehousing to resolve production issues.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives and drive continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.
- Communicate downtime trends, corrective actions, and efficiency goals to stakeholders.
Safety, Compliance, & Quality Control
- Ensure all processing activities adhere to FDA regulations, GMP, and OSHA standards.
- Inspect production areas to maintain cleanliness and compliance with GMP and 6S standards.
- Maintain documentation for safety protocols, equipment changes, and process improvements.
- React quickly to production challenges and lead change effectively

Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Education: Associate degree + 5 years of experience or bachelor’s degree + 3 years of experience
- Experience: 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience in manufacturing
Skills & Abilities
- A leadership style that values teamwork, accountability, and employee development
- Experience in cosmetic, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing with FDA/GMP knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of GMP, safety regulations, and lean manufacturing
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, including shift or schedule changes
Work Schedule
- Thursday – Saturday, 5:50 PM – 6:20 AM (12-hour shifts)
