Team Lead II Corporate Warehouse ASRS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain related field of study.

Experience: 3+ years of warehouse and distribution experience, preferably with some automatic storage retrieval system.  Supervisory experience in a warehouse/logistics environment is preferred.

1. Must have effective oral and written communication skills in order to interface with staff and both internal and external contacts

2. Must have technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills in order to work with the repair, maintenance, and operation of ASRS equipment and direct the activities of the staff.  Must have knowledge of hazardous materials/dangerous goods rules and regulations for the Department of Transportation.  Additional requirements may include International Air and Ocean regulations. Must be able to secure and maintain any and all training and/or certifications as required by governing regulations.

3. Must have a sense of urgency in order to respond to operations changes, emergencies, and deadlines.  Must understand the transportation industry including trucking, air, and ocean carriers and the local, state and federal regulations associated with each carrier. 

4. Domestic / International overnight travel required approximately <5% of work time.

5. Must be able to lift a minimum weight of 50 lbs

6. Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for extended periods of time.
