Your Role
As a Central Weigh Technician, you will play a key role in supporting production by accurately weighing and dispensing raw materials for bulk production, contract manufacturing, and new product development. Key responsibilities include:
Raw Material Weighing & Dispensing
•    Weigh raw materials for bulk production and new formulas according to batch specifications using digital scales, mechanical arms, and drum lifts.
•    Ensure accurate measurements within 1% per material weighed.
•    Operate a forklift to transport raw materials to storage and weighing areas.
•    Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA regulations.
Inventory Management & Accuracy
•    Perform cycle counts, inventory adjustments, palletizing, and anchoring to maintain inventory accuracy.
•    Utilize Mary Kay Business Systems for inventory tracking, case counts, and troubleshooting discrepancies.
Equipment & Safety Compliance
•    Inspect equipment, racks, and facilities for proper operation and cleanliness.
•    Perform daily GMP/Safety audits and adhere to all safe work practices.
•    Follow hazardous material handling procedures and maintain compliance with safety regulations.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
•    Participate in lean manufacturing events and support process improvement initiatives.
•    Assist team members and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.
 

Who We’re Looking For
Experience & Education
•    Experience: 1+ years in a cosmetic, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Forklift experience preferred.
•    Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills & Abilities
•    Strong attention to detail to ensure component accuracy and compliance with day coding and packaging specifications.
•    Proficiency in basic math 
•    Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. and safely operate material-handling equipment.
•    Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, and inventory management principles.
