KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent applicable experience in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, eCommerce or a related area.

Experience: 1-2 years of cumulative relevant work experience in online/eCommerce marketing and/or web merchandising including experience with web platforms, web content management systems, web analytics (e.g. Omniture), A/B and multivariant testing tools, PIM systems, or similar technologies; or other demonstrated level expertise and knowledge in the online space (web, email, social and mobile, etc), including trends and technologies.

1. Knowledge of ecommerce, content targeting strategies, web design standards, UI designing and testing with a solid grasp of IT functionality within web infrastructure.

2. Proven use of online analytics and consumer data in order to interpret results, identify site opportunities, and drive marketing decisions to maximize sales, conversion rate and overall customer experience.

3. Must be creative, solution focused and willing to work with others to identify fresh ideas.

4. Expected to learn and master the Web Content Management System(s) and Product Information System from a Business User perspective.

5. Customer-centric mindset with ability to strategically position products and promotions. Knowledge of Mary Kay Product line and an understanding of general cosmetics and beauty care consumable and beauty customer segments, as well as understanding consumer needs/expectations is preferred.

6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, reliability and professional with attention to detail and rapid execution are essential.

7. Expected to handle multiple projects at once and be able to deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities and comfortable taking direction but also managing upward.

8. Must be self-sufficient, able to prioritize and organize and possess a high level of time and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with aggressive deadlines with little direction is required.

9. Must possess a sense of urgency, be proactive and display confidence as a team member, demonstrating strong collaboration, flexibility and diplomacy skills.

10. Global minded and flexible approach: keeping all markets in mind when supporting strategies and implementing initiatives.

11. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with management and assist staff in the development of interactive marketing programs that are consistent with company objectives. Must have excellent presentation skills and comfortable presenting in front of audiences.

12. Must be a Brand Ambassador for the Mary Kay Brand and ensure all tactics adhere to Branding guidelines.
