Mary Kay University is our 10-week summer internship program designed to give undergraduate and graduate students meaningful, real-world experience across a variety of business functions. About Mary Kay Research and Development
Mary Kay's Research & Development teams are passionate about advancing beauty through science and innovation. From product formulation and safety to clinical research, regulatory affairs, and process development, R&D professionals help bring high-quality, innovative products to consumers around the world.

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree and enrolled in an accredited university program at the time of application (full-time undergraduate or part-time/full-time graduate students). Rising juniors and seniors preferred.
- Preferred Degrees: Chemical Engineering, Data Science, Science, Chemistry, Biology, Sensory Science, Life Science, Microbiology, or similar
The Value You Bring
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to facilitate communication between various groups to achieve quality objectives
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Interest in Artificial Intelligence
Ability to quickly learn business software systems
Strong attention to detail
Passion for the beauty industry and cosmetic products
Data management and data organization skills
Basic understanding of fundamental science concepts
Strong critical thinking skills, teamwork and collaboration
Interest in sustainability (preferred, not required)
Interest in data analytics and artificial intelligence (preferred, not required)
Program Details
We offer a 10-week internship from late June to Mid-August
All our internships are paid, starting at $20/hour.
Our internships are Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, and require an in-office presence 4-5 days per week.
Our internships are located at our Global Headquarters in Addison, TX or our Manufacturing/ R&D Facility in Lewisville, TX.
