KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES    

Education 

Bachelor’s degree in Radio Television Film, or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in commercial video production

  1. A proven expert in the video production process: pre-production through post-production process and a discriminating eye/ear for video/audio quality are required. Must possess the ability to both tell the story and use the programs, with motion graphics as one of the tools to tell the story.
  2. Is a proven expert in the coordination of complex video production processes to effectively manage workflow; including planning and management of project timelines, negotiation of contracts and professional service agreements, and  providing recommendations for improvement of video production process.
  3. Great multi-tasker, self-motivated, fast problem solver – Can comfortably work with multiple projects at different stages.
  4. Must understand marketing strategy and demonstrate the ability to apply brand and company-specific requirements to respond with appropriate visual solutions.
  5. Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills to interface with team members, executives, internal project owners, outside vendors and independent sales force.
  6. Excellent technical skills required; Ability to edit using Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop.
     Knowledge of the various cameras/lenses/codecs/bit rates available and their best applications.
  7. Must have basic drawing skills and good photography skills.  A strong background in design and typography is preferred. 
  8. Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written skills) preferred.  Must be aware of cultural differences in order to support the Spanish-speaking independent sales force and general Hispanic market in the US.
  9. Must have a reel\portfolio that exhibits an exceptional range of work – covering a variety of products and styles, is dynamic and pushes technology barriers.
  10. Must have strong conceptual and storytelling abilities to develop and produce high quality creative projects.
  11. Ability to select, evaluate, and provide direction to vendors; interface with executives/individuals to develop/execute clear video communication and results.
  12. Must have a thorough knowledge of Macintosh and PC hardware and configuration and of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
