Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing,
Communications, Advertising, Business, or related field, plus |
Experience |
a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in corporate or
agency advertising environment, with proven examples of successful marketing
campaigns, or relevant experience in a more general marketing role. |

The ideal candidate will bring integrated
marketing experience with a passion for direct sales and working in a corporate
environment. Critical to this position’s success is the ability to manage
multiple routine projects at the same time with acute attention to detail.

Expected to demonstrate understanding of a
linked spectrum of marketing, PR, social media, promotions and advertising
ideation, as well as basic program management skills.

Must be able to support development of brand
experiences from a consumer and Independent Sales Force point of view. This
requires an understanding of the Mary Kay product line and an understanding of
general cosmetics and beauty care consumable and beauty customer segments at a
detailed level, as well as understanding consumer and Independent Beauty
Consultant needs/expectations.

Must have excellent interpersonal and
communication skills to effectively communicate with management and provide
direction to internal staff in the development of marketing programs that are
consistent with company objectives. Must have excellent presentation skills and
be comfortable presenting in front of large audiences.

Must be creative, solution-focused and willing
to work with others to identify fresh ideas.
6.
Must be an analytical thinker with a broad
perspective and, at the same time, demonstrate an acute attention to detail and
the ability to execute flawlessly.

Strong written and verbal communication skills,
reliability and professionalism are essential.
8.
Must have solid personal judgment, ability to
identify misinformation and track disparate information is critical to keeping
programs on track.
9.
Must be self-sufficient, able to prioritize and
organize and possess time and project management skills with the ability to
manage multiple projects and tasks with aggressive deadlines.
10. Ability
to deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.
11. Position
requires strong business writing skills, plus proficiency in Word, Excel and
PowerPoint. Computer skills, such as database searches are also important.
12. Domestic
overnight travel up to 30% of the time required.
13. Spanish
language competency a plus, but not required.
